Logitech Cordless Desktop Optical - keyboard , mouse

I have been using this set for about 6 months now and never had any problems. I bought it from a computer fair for about £45, which was expensive but I wanted one with an optical and rechargeable mouse.
The set includes the wireless keyboard and mouse to enable complete cable free usage. The mouse is also optical so there is no more sticking that you normally get with the conventional type of ball and roller mouse. Optical also means higher accuracy and more sensitivity for generally more reliable use.
This particular keyboard has many shortcut keys to launch different applications such as email, messenger, browser etc. It also has a volume controland media controls such as ffwd, rwnd, play/pause and stop.
All of the shortcut keys can be programmed to point to whatever you want them to, i.e. theres a key that says "shopping", you could have this set to tesco website or ebay for example.
The software needs to be installed to operate these extra functions and can be a little complicated untill you get used to it, but once you have all the necessary functions set up you will not need to use the software again unless you want to change any of them. Installation is relatively straight forward, as with installing anything you just load the disk and follow the on screen instructions.
The mouse will sit in the holder which doubles as both the reciver for the keyboard and mouse, and the charging unit for the mouse. The keyboard is not rechargeable and takes 2x AA batteries, that are supplied with the unit.
Another special feature of this keyboard is the F keys, which each have their own function. You can chose to lock the F keys with the button to the top left "F-Lock" which will give the standard F1-F12 keys, or by hitting the "F-Lock" key again will enable the individual functions printed on the keys such as: my documents, my computer, print, save, send/recieve mail, and others. I personally find about 90% of the extra functions on the keyboard usefull and use them to make my life on the computer much easier.
The only slight problem I have found is the range, I would say its optimum working range is approx. 5ft, which is fine for any desktop use. This has only been an issue when I connect my pc up to my tv and use that as my monitor, when trying to work from my sofa with the reciever on the desk it has trouble picking up the signal and you get missed key stokes and jumpy mouse. Again this is no problem if you are using a normal desktop setup.
Overall I would recommend this set and although it is expensive there is the old saying that "you get what you pay for" which I believ is true in this case

Acer Aspire 5732Z

Performance-wise it features a Intel Pentium T4400 running at 2.2GHz, backed up with 3GB of memory, meaning that it offers
more power than most laptops
at this price. This will be useful if you regularly multitask programs
or use resource-heavy
applications, such as photo-
editing suites.
Strong connectivity Networking is excellent and,
even though most other laptops
now include 802.11n Wi-Fi as
standard, this laptop boasts
Gigabit Ethernet for the fastest
possible wired connections. Having said that, this laptop is a
little lacking when it comes to
ports. There are only two USB
ports to connect peripherals to,
which we think is a little limiting,
and Acer has positioned them directly next to each other,
meaning one large peripheral can
easily obscure both ports.

Samsung LE32C450

I recently moved into my own flat, and just before I moved decided I needed a new TV for my front room, as I wanted to keep the 19 inch Samsung TV in the bedroom for playing DVD's etc. I decided I wanted to stick with Samsung, as I have many products made by them and *touch wood* they have served me very well with no problems. I find Samsung to be a very well trusted, well respected brand that makes perfect quality products.
The first place I looked for a TV was on Amazon, as this is where I got a super bargain on my 19 inch Samsung TV, and once again I got the brilliant sale from Amazon. After checking the price elsewhere, Amazon has the cheapest price by far for the Samsung LE-32C450. The LE-32C450 is a 32 inch, flat screen TV which truly is a wonderful tv.
From Samsungs Series 4, it is HD ready, with 3 HDMI cable ports, so you can connect multiple HD items. I found this very handy as I can plug in my Sky HD box and my Xbox 360 at the same time, so no having to switch wires or ports. There is also a USB connection on this TV, so you can connect multiple different devices that support USB connection.
The Samsung LE-32C450 also has wide colour enhancement technology, so you get an amazing picture with brilliant colours that are bought to life. The screen resolution is an amazing 1366 x 768 and it supports Dolby Digital Surround Sound. There is a good choice of auto functions too, including auto channel search and store and auto power off. The LE-32C450 is a slim line TV, with a round stand and when you turn it on and off, it plays a cute little tune, like you would expect when shutting down a computer. The TV also supports 25 different languages, so you can set it to what ever language you require it to be in.
The remote control that comes with the TV (Batteries included) is very simple to use, and all the buttons are clearly labelled with what they do, so there is no confusion as to which button does what. I hate it when a TV comes with an over complicated remote! The operating system on the TV itself is just as simple to use, I find that the TV is very user friendly, and pretty much anyone can use it.The best thing I love on this TV, is the fact that you can hover a finger over the controls on the front of the TV and they work! I had no idea it did this till I was cleaning the TV and some how turned it off!! Heat sensors on the front! Brilliant idea, although I can not find a mention of that on the Amazon listing for the TV LOL!! I know it is something simple but I was amazed by this, as I have never had it on a TV before, not even my 19 inch Samsung TV!
I love the picture quality on this TV! Even on non HD channels and movies, they picture is beautifully clear and precise, with strong colors and great details to everything, and then when you turn it onto High Definition - Wow! It really is an amazing picture that can not be done justice through words, you just have to experience it for yourself. The sound quality on the TV is just as brilliant, and you hardly have to have the TV turned up at all to get a great amount of sound from it. The volume goes up to 100, but so far, I have not had it past 20 - I fear any higher would make my ears bleed or my neighbours come ramming on my door!Personally I think this is a brilliant TV and I could not ask for anything better, the picture is perfect, the sound is perfect, it really is perfect and if you are looking to get yourself a new TV then LE-32C450 from Samsung is the only way to go (unless of course you want a different screen size!) If you are going to get one of these, donn't bother going anywhere else, the best you will find is on Amazon, by a good £40 cheaper than the nearest price, and you also get free delivery from Amazon!
Take my word for it, there is no other TV like this one, so go get yourself a Samsung LE-32C450 today, you won't regret taking my advice.*This review can also be found on Dooyoo under the name of Stufflover*

This is a brilliant guitar

This epiphone guitar is the best guitar i have. it has a sexy design, and the sound qualtiy is brilliant. there are 4 pick ups on the guitar , aslo the pick up switch varies it has rhythm and trebble. I purchased this guitar for £180 and it was worth every penny.

Computer purchase review me

Good range of optioins for spec. I wanted a quiet computer and had searched internet for best specification. Got some good advice when I rang sales support. They advised on case and video card. They even offered to source a case externally if I wanted it.
The order time was what they said and I coiuld get updates automatically. I realised that I had a spare licence for operating system and asked to change order (fairly early in process) and there wasnt any problem. I could also track this via web siteHad problems with setup (my problems!) and technical support very helpful on both occasions that I rang. They even ran down to get a video card to check the connection which was fairly tight. They didnt have problems advising on things I added (operatig system, hard drives) although I understood that the warranty didnt cover this
Overall good service
Advantages:
good technical support .
Disadvantages:
oreder tracking comprehensive and obviated need for e mail reponses

Nokia 2220

I have just had my old brick of a phone replaced by this! My daughter bought it for me and said that it was easy to use so I shouldn't have any problems with it. I was unsure at first s I don't like change and I could use my other phone with ease, I think perhaps my daughter was a little embarrassed by me though!
In the picture that Ciao have provided they show the phone in a nice, rich blue colour, the phone which I have is a deep purple.
Slide
This phone is a slide phone where you slide the phone up to reveal the keypad. This I think makes the phone a little difficult to text with one hand- because it is suddenly twice as long when it's open it is a little top heavy and I find I need two hands- one to hold it still and the other to text so it isn't great, I think I would prefer one which isn't slide.
Functions
I'm not sure exactly what this phone has to offer, I like to just stick to texting, calling and the odd photo but when I have looked through the menu and seen what's available I have been able to see that this is quite a simple phone. It doesn't have a huge amount of fancy functions for example there is no Bluetooth on it.
The camera is a 2 megapixel camera so it isn't very good quality but it does capture the moment if you need to! The picture is a little grainy but it's just fine for me. It is easy to use the camera too by just a quick click of the button and it takes immediately without waiting to focus.
You can get online and surf the Internet throguh WAP on this. This is limited to what you can go on though as it's not as fancy as an Iphone or a Blackberry. For example I can check my Yahoo! Emails but I am not able to get on big sites like Ciao where there is too much information.
You can send multimedia messages on here, record voices, download music and play games too.

Keypad
The keypad is soft, by this I mean that the buttons are not metallic instead it's a soft keypad with all of the numbers on a line joined together so it can be easy to press the wrong one by mistake! It has predictive text which is easy to turn on and off and does make texting easier for me. The keypad is hidden behind the screen and it appears when you slide the phone up. There are keys available below the screen though that you can use without sliding it up. This is the main menu button so you can scroll through or lock your phone and also the call answer/reject buttons. You can set your phone so that just sliding the phone up or down will answer/close the call which is handy so you don't need to press a button at all!
Battery
I have found that my battery will last me around 5 days and this is with quite a lot of use; I tend to speak on the phone for around an hour a day and send several texts. I do think that it has a good battery life. It does take a while to charge up though.
General use
This is a nice little phone. I am very happy with it although I can see some down falls of it such as the keypad being a bit awkward to use with it being a slide phone it is a little harder to hold. I'm pleased that I am now in the 21st century with a decent phone and I like the colour it is. I do think because it is only small and light it's a good phone to have and is much lighter than other ones that I have seen and owned before!
I think you would like this phone if you're looking for quite a simple Nokia which is straightforward to use and nothing fancy but if you are looking for an all singing all dancing piece of technology then this isn't the phone for you!
It was fairly cheap at £60 from the 02 shop and so a reasonable price especially compared to many others!

Reddmango Angora MP3 Player

Just after Christmas I decided to treat myself to a new ipod as my current one was a little temperamental and only worked when it felt like it, so when a friend was selling an almost brand new one for just £25 I snapped it up! I was like a child with a new toy playing with it and adding all my music to it when my daughter decided that she was very interested in it - stupidly I let her have a listen and of course she loved it and wanted to play with it over and over again. I was so worried about her breaking it that I thought I would get her an mp3 player. As my daughter is only three I didn't want to spend a great deal of money, and I was advised to try Tesco as they sell reasonably cheap players. Before trying shops, I decided to try Ebay and I found one that looked perfect at a great price.
The Reddmango Angora MP3 player is a small black plastic gadget that looks just like a usb stick. In the centre of the player is a large silver button which are the controls and at either side you will find writing which shows the brand name "Reddmango" and "Usb disc/mp3". At the left hand side of the mp3 you will find the small hole for the headphones to be attached. Along the bottom of the mp3 you will find a small red light, and a small silver button which is the on/off button. The cover of the mp3 is removed to reveal the usb stick so you can plug it into the computer, but also to place the battery into the mp3 you need to remove the cover, and on the back you will find a long tube-like cover which also needs to be removed so you can put the battery in. The mp3 player is 1GB, which means it will hold between 200 and 250 songs depending on the length of the songs. Adding songs to the player really couldn't be any more simple. Remove the cover and pop the usb into your computer, this will install the drivers and open a folder in which you can place your songs. I used Itunes to add songs to the mp3 but you can just as easily use a media player. Simply drag the desired songs into the mp3 folder (or you can copy and paste, whichever you find easier), and then the songs will appear on the mp3. There is no synching required with this simple little player as you find with ipods or more expensive players. Now I am not technical in the slightest, but this really couldn't have been any easier, and even my mum could do it and she doesn't know anything about computers or mp3's!
It is also extremely easy to use this mp3 player, and this was very important as it is for my three year old daughter to use and I wanted her to be able to use it alone without needing someone's help each time. To switch on the player, you need to press the on button for a couple of seconds and the red light will glow to show you that the player is turned on. The music will then begin, and you can use the large silver button to skip through songs should you so wish to. Of course, as this is such a basic mp3 there is no display showing the songs so you do need to listen to the music to know what is playing. To turn the mp3 off, simply press and hold the on/off button a second time. The sound quality on this mp3 is surprisingly really good! The mp3 comes with the headphones which are the small ones which go in your ear, this isn't ideal for my daughter as her ears are just too small to put them in so I am looking to replace them with the more old fashioned earphones so she can listen better. However, she will simply hold them up to her ear when she is listening to her tunes and the sound quality is just perfect.
One downside with the mp3 is that it is battery operated only, and the battery does seem to go quite fast. It does however only take a single AA battery so in that sense it isn't expensive to keep replacing, but I do need to make sure I have replacements available for when they run out. My daughter has been using the mp3 regularly, probably a couple of times a day most days, and since first using it in January I would guess we have changed the battery around seven times, so you can see how it does drain quite quickly. I would have preferred it if there was the ability to charge the mp3 on the computer, but it isn't really a great problem as such. My daughter absolutely loves this, she really adores listening to music and having a good singalong to her Disney tunes that I have put on for her. Though I have found on several occasions that my daughter likes to listen to a couple of bars per song and then skip away happily through them al! She has seen me set off to work with my ipod on so I have had quite a few requests that she can use her mp3 when we are on our way to nursery - just so she can be like mummy!
The price of this mp3 was an absolute bargain, just £2.99 off Ebay and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I have seen the same item for sale on Amazon for £14 so I would advise if you are looking to purchase one to definately shop around. I think this is a perfect first mp3 player for a child to use, and at that price it doesn't really matter if it gets broken or stops working.
